For the second year in a row, Barriere is on the Associated Builders and Contractors National Top 200 Performers list. Consistent with our core value of continuous improvement, we have moved up in rankings from #55 in 2020 to #49 in 2021.

In 2020, Barriere became an ABC Accredited Quality Contractor for the second time, which was the primary qualifier for our 2021 ranking. We also received an ABC National Safety Excellence Award and one of our projects – the St. Charles Parish Rail Yard Expansion – received an ABC Excellence in Construction Award through the ABC Pelican Chapter. All of these factors contributed to this year’s accomplishment!

To add to this month’s excitement, on March 11, Barriere was presented the 2021 Fleet Master Award in the Large Fleet category during a ceremony at the Association of Equipment Management Professionals CONNECT 2021 Annual Conference. This is our third time winning the award, which we also received in 2004 and 2009 – another sign of Barriere’s top performance!
