Barriere Announces 6th Annual Safety Award Winner!

On February 23, Barriere’s sixth annual George H. Wilson Jr. Safety Award was presented to Barriere Construction Group Superintendent Cesar Madrid during the company’s sixth annual Safety and Total Process Reliability Training Week. This award was established to underscore the efforts of an exemplary employee whose contributions create a safer work environment for all.

Barriere Announces 6th Annual Safety Award
Cesar Madrid received his $2,000 prize at a small ceremony held in Barriere’s dedicated Training Center.

Cesar stands out for many reasons, especially when it comes to reinforcing our shared values through his training and guidance of New Employees.

Senior Project Manager Brad Leckert nominated Cesar for the Safety Award because “Cesar’s leadership, when it comes to safety, has a profound effect on his employees and others.” Brad’s sentiments were echoed by some of Cesar’s peers during Training Week. Check out what they have to say, and hear from Cesar in the video below!
