Barriere Construction celebrates 75 years of industry innovation and operational excellence

Barriere Construction is celebrating a special milestone in 2024: the 75 th anniversary of operations
for our company. Founded in 1949 as a family owned and operated asphalt and paving company, today
Barriere is proud to be a part of the CRH family of businesses. The premier road and infrastructure
builder for public, private and industrial projects across the Gulf South, Barriere will commemorate this
milestone with events and activities throughout the year.

For three quarters of a century, Barriere has demonstrated operational excellence — combined with a
commitment to innovation and technology — in our mission to safely deliver quality construction
solutions for our customers.

This milestone anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate our family roots as well as our legacy of safety,
quality and lasting relationships. Barriere’s foundation is built on service and a dedication to the
community through civic investments and charitable giving throughout Southeastern Louisiana and the
Gulf South region.
