Last month Barriere received word that we are ranked as a 2022 Associated Builders and Contractors Top Performer – our third year in a row on the list after becoming an ABC Accredited Quality Contractor, which is a primary qualifier for this honor.

For four years, ABC has been publishing the Top 200 Performers list as a supplement to Construction Executive magazine, ranking qualified commercial and industrial contractor members by size based on work hours. This year Barriere came in at #56 in the nation and #31 on the Top 125 General Contractors list.

New to this year’s ranking are lists of top-performing companies in 18 market segments, and Barriere is #8 on the Top Infrastructure Contractors list!

Barriere is Louisiana’s largest asphalt producer and civil construction Contractor of Choice.

In addition to being an ABC AQC, Top Performers must also achieve a minimum of Gold status in ABC’s Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) program, the standard for developing world-class management systems in construction.
