Barriere managed the $11.6M St. Charles Parish Railyard Expansion Project from a heavy civil construction unit price contract with the Port of South Louisiana to install a six-track railyard on 16 acres of a former crop plane airstrip.

The Project involved installation of a 2,000 square yard two-track railcar storage and maintenance pad and related infrastructure, including an access road from the Project’s sole access point on River Road and 27K+ feet of six new tracks that connects the railspur at the DOW’s facility with the new construction.

“The attention to detail, ability to communicate, both timely and effectively, and your company’s commitment to safety were all evident throughout the construction period.” — DOW
