Barriere Joins 70+ Industry Leaders in National Construction Safety Week 2021

On Monday, May 3, Barriere and more than 70 national and global construction firms will join forces for National Construction Safety Week 2021, a unified demonstration of commitment to building a stronger, safer industry. In its 8th year, the campaign encourages participants to share best practices, tools, and resources and is intended to inspire everyone in the industry to be safety leaders.

Safety First is one of Barriere’s core values, which we uphold through our Culture of Care. The safety and well-being of our employees and their families is Barriere’s top priority, and our entire workforce is mutually committed to an ongoing Journey to Zero incidents. Executives are involved and employees are empowered as, together, we work to build a stronger, safer company.

Be Present. Be Focused. Be Safe. For Barriere, this year’s National Construction Safety Week theme emphasizes the importance of personal responsibility on our Journey to Zero. Prioritizing both physical and psychological safety allows us to bring our best selves to work, which translates into making good on our B Guarantee to safely and reliably deliver quality projects and products under budget and on time, every time.

As part of Barriere’s participation in this year’s Safety Week, our crews will holistically review our main safety responsibilities during pre-shift meetings over the course of five days. We will also provide a high-level overview of Barriere’s award-winning safety culture and some of its programs on social media. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and/or LinkedIn!
