Barriere’s Sixth Annual Safety and Total Process Reliability (TPR) Training Week spans two weeks this year – the end of this week and the beginning of next. Management is reporting on data and presenting resources that empower employees to develop successful career paths within the company. Employees are providing feedback that empowers us all to continuously improve. Each crew’s experience ends with an appreciation ceremony that recognizes individual performance within Barriere’s values-based culture, including that of our Top Mentors.

Top Mentors are selected based on job performance and their mentee’s successful completion of Barriere’s Mentor Program designed to ensure New Hires understand company culture while developing and using proper work techniques. Safety, production, and quality are the focus.

All New Hires are assigned a Mentor during their probationary period, and the Mentor Program is part of Barriere’s On-the-Job Training Program. Mentors choose to participate in the Mentor Program, and are paid for their efforts.
