Barriere is excited to announce that for the 2015-2016 school year there were two scholarship winners, Rilda Duron and Callee Fogg!

Rilda Duron is the daughter of Gerardo Duron, carpenter in Industrial. She attended Bonnabel High School and graduated 7th in her class with a 4.2 GPA in 2015. She will be attending Talladega College in Talladega, Alabama. She will have a major of Biology/Pre-Med with the goal of becoming a Physician.

Callee Fogg is the daughter of Barry Fogg, Foreman in North Shore Asphalt. She attended Pearl River High and graduated 3rd in her class with a 4.5 GPA in 2015. She will be attending Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. She will major in nursing with the goal of becoming a neonatal nurse.

Rilda and Callee’s scholarships will last for four years and they must maintain a 3.0 GPA and the status of a full-time student.
