Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a Total Life Assistance™ tool, that is designed to help you and your family members successfully manage life’s challenges by identifying options and making informed choices.

This is a confidential and voluntary program that encourages individuals to seek assistance on their own. Participation in the EAP will not jeopardize your job.

In fact, use of the EAP may be looked upon as favorable, for taking the initiative to address problems early. Overall, the EAP can assist with enhancing the work climate of an organization and promoting the health and well-being of employees.

What kinds of problems are appropriate for the EAP?

Interface EAP provides free and confidential counseling with experienced, licensed counselors. You can easily access a comprehensive network of providers with expertise in the following areas:

  • Stress Management
  • Emotional
  • Depression/Anxiety
  • Workplace Issues
  • Family/Parenting
  • Alcohol/Drug Abuse
  • General Wellness
  • Community Resources

The professionals who will assist you are not part of Barriere. They are licensed counselors who understand the “everyday problems” that face individuals and families. They are able to provide support and guidance to individuals when they are faced with life’s unexpected challenges.

Should you need to use our EAP program, you will be eligible for four (4) free sessions (paid for by Barriere). Should you need additional sessions, Interface EAP will refer you to a network provider within Barriere’s network through PPOplus.
