Barriere Expands Footprint in the Baton Rouge Market with New Asphalt Plant

Barriere Construction celebrated the opening of a new asphalt plant at 12601 Scenic Highway in Baton Rouge, LA with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with company officials and Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards.

On November 1, 2016, Barriere Construction celebrated completion of an asphalt plant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The new plant expands Barriere’s footprint in the Louisiana economy and represents the company’s confidence in the future growth and vitality of the greater Baton Rouge community.

For over 60 years, Barriere Construction has called Louisiana home and helped drive the growth of communities across the state. With numerous public and private sector construction projects throughout Louisiana, Barriere delivers on its commitment to safely build the state’s infrastructure with people, equipment, and new facilities. The new Baton Rouge asphalt plant expands on this mission, adding new direct and indirect jobs to the Baton Rouge economy.
