NEW ORLEANS, LA., December 31, 2020, — CRH Americas Materials, Inc., has completed the acquisition of Barriere Construction Co., L.L.C. (“Barriere”), in the state of Louisiana. Barriere is a family-owned, vertically integrated asphalt and paving operation consisting of three asphalt plants, a heavy civil and industrial construction line of business, sand and gravel operations, and aggregates river terminals. Backed by 430 employees, Barriere has served the great state of Louisiana since 1949, with asphalt plants located in Baton Rouge, Boutte, and Franklinton.
