For the 8th year, Barriere has been awarded Diamond Commendations from the National Asphalt
Pavement Association (NAPA). All three of our plants were recognized for implementing best practices
proven to improve quality, safety and excellence. These awards are a testament to Barriere’s
commitment to operational excellence and exceptional workmanship.
NAPA awarded Barriere’s three plants – North Shore Asphalt Group, Baton Rouge Asphalt Group and
South Shore Asphalt Group – each with the following commendations:
- Diamond Paving
- Diamond Achievement Sustainable
- Diamond Quality
The Diamond Commendation program recognizes the use of best practices for asphalt plant operations, terminal operations, asphalt production and paving. The program’s self-assessment process assists
companies in measuring their operations against a national standard, helps to identify areas for
improvement and enables companies to earn national recognition for their commitment to quality.
NAPA works to support, advocate for and advance the asphalt pavement industry by identifying the use
of best practices and recognizing companies in the industry that exemplify an outstanding commitment
to excellence. Barriere is honored to receive these awards.
