Barriere Construction has been honored by CRH’s Americas Materials business with the 2025 Joe Marrone Outstanding Leadership in Asphalt Operations Award, a prestigious distinction for excellence in asphalt operations.

Presented annually by the company’s Asphalt Performance Steering Committee, the award celebrates outstanding achievement across a broad range of operational areas, including safety, material quality, energy efficiency, sustainability, environmental stewardship, production excellence and overall plant performance. Each year, only one company within each production category is selected for this honor.

Barriere was selected for its strong operational performance, commitment to quality, leadership in plant reliability initiatives and people-centered culture. The company also received distinction for supporting enterprise-wide improvements through its work in Operator Driven Reliability (ODR) and plant availability programs.

In addition, Barriere’s focus on customer service and quality excellence was highlighted through achievements such as earning two National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) Quality in Construction (QIC) Awards and delivering high-quality work for petrochemical industry customers.
