Barriere Construction is committed to providing the highest quality asphalt based products on the market today. We currently have two state of the art hot mix asphalt plants in operation to service both the south and north shores of Lake Pontchartrain.
Our Southshore plant located in Boutte, LA. has a six silo storage capacity, and the ability to produce 3200 tons per day.
Our 2nd plant is located on the Northshore in Franklinton, LA. With three storage silos and the capacity to produce 3200 tons per day, this facility demonstrates the newest technology on the market today.
Additionally, we utilize in house quality control to assure the various mix designs we run daily are held to the highest standards. Barriere does all this while maintaining our promise to the environment to run as cleanly as possible. These efforts have earned us both the Diamond Achievement and Ecological awards since 1999.
