We operate two state-of-the-art asphalt production facilities – one at our North Shore Asphalt Division plant and one at our South Shore Asphalt Division location. Both have been repeatedly recognized with the National Asphalt Pavement Association’s (NAPA) Diamond Achievement Award for environmental excellence.
Barriere also owns and operates Louisiana’s only on-site asphalt testing lab at our South Shore facility, which is certified by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO).
Our South Shore division provides asphalt paving services, along with the manufacture of both hot-mix, warm-mix, and cold-mix asphalt needed both for our area projects and independent contractors.
The South Shore facility serves Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, Plaquemines, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, St. James, Ascension, St. Mary, Lafourche, Terrebonne, and Iberville parishes, and surrounding areas.
